Ontos supports the upcoming rNews-initiative by providing a plug-in for the authoring tool TinyMCE. The plug-in uses Ontos’ API to automatically analyze written content and create and embed proper RDFa. In addition it allows to manually add and edit rNews metadata. The IPTC draft rNews is used in its current version 0.5. rNews allows news agencies to enricht their articles with meaningful information and thus potentially improve their visibility for search engines and provide additional services for end users.
