  05. - 07.09.2007: Conference I-SEMANTICS ’07 in Graz, Austria

  As an exhibitor at the conference I-SEMANTICS ’07 , Ontos will demonstrate within a presentation to the visitors semantic navigation as well as analytic reporting in the semantic web. Further we will discuss the Social Semantic Web, especially manual annotation and mashups.

AviComp/Ontos will participate in the International Conference "Autonomous Intelligent Systems Agents and Data Mining" and hold a speech regarding "Ontos Solutions for Semantic Web: Text Mining, Navigation and Analytics".

31.05. - 01.06.2007: Conference ESTC2007 in Vienna, Austria

Ontos is going to participate as an exhibitor in the conference ESTC2007 in Vienna and will present semantic navigation as well as analytic reporting in the semantic web.

22.05.-24.05.2007: 2nd Delegate Convention of the BDK in Wesseling

Within the Delegate Convention of the BDK at the educational institution of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Wesseling took place the symposium “Inner Security in the Sign of Terrorism”. Ontos International AG as an exhibitor showed applications of the Ontos software for different specialized procedures. Especially the potential coupling of a geographical information system for the automatic presentation of position reports in a digitized map attracted the audience’s interest. Mr. Wolfgang Bosbach (member of the Association and spokesman of the CDU/CSU faction for domestic policy in the Bundestag) was very surprised what the Ontos software can find in unstructured data.

 

Ontos will give a speech regarding “Semantic Technologies for Real Commercial Applications: Experiences and Lessons based on Digesting and Summarization of Multilingual-Text Collections” on the Semantic Conference.

Ontos International AG will participate as a partner on the symposium and demonstrate its integrated solution with SAP.

27.02.2007: 12. Microsoft Police Congress

This year too, Ontos International AG was exhibitor of the 12^th Microsoft Police Congress, which took place in Wiesbaden, Germany.
The presented solutions for the recognition of knowledge contained in unstructured data (textmining), but also our solutions for the analysis of money laundering (AML) and the semantic web met the interest of the people. This annual event is one of the central road shows for IT officers at the police and security agencies. Visitors and participants get the latest information about innovative solutions as well as IT trends and have the opportunity to exchange ideas.
